Le Nuvole Scienza has been involved in science education and communication in all its forms since 1996. Its distinctive feature is the ability to bring science to every appropriate venue — from traditional science settings (schools, museums, science centers, festivals, libraries) to unconventional ones (parks, squares, businesses, shopping centers) — and to adapt its approach to different needs while always pursuing the dual goal of conveying scientific content in an interactive way. Starting with guided tours at Città della Scienza, over the years it has developed innovative methods for science education and communication (installation shows, participatory storytelling, games), methodologies to explore the relationship between science and society, actions to contribute to building the knowledge society, a commitment to educating scientifically (and otherwise) aware citizens, and expertise in the conception, design, implementation, and management of events.
